You are undoubtedly aware of how difficult it is to find a natural skin cream that will really work for you. Every company makes claims that make their products sound like the best you can find. Let’s take a look at some things you should be aware of when you shop for creams and lotions.

First of all, not everything that claims to be natural, really is good for your skin. For instance, if you see mineral oil on the label of a natural skin cream, put it back on the shelf. Mineral oil is a by product of the petroleum industry (I suppose you could call it natural, since it comes from the ground), but in the long run causes damage to your skin.

Also paraben preservatives are used in some “natural” creams. These synthetic preservatives are created in a laboratory and are used only because they cost next to nothing. Parabens have been linked to diseases such as cancer and do not belong in any natural skin cream.

Instead, look for natural preservatives such as vitamin E. Natural vitamin E works as a wonderful preservative and yet does so much more. It also lightens the skin and is known as a powerful antioxidant.

Secondly, the most effective natural skin cream will contain moisturizers that build healthy skin tissue. Two of my favorite moisturizers are shea butter and avocado oil. Both of these are nearly identical to the natural oils produced by the glands in the skin.

Shea butter is a natural emollient that contains high amounts of vitamins A and E as well as essential fatty acids. It has been shown to fade spots on the skin and heal scars and blemishes.

Avocado oil contains vitamins and minerals that nourish the skin. Recent studies have shown it to help increase the production of collagen and elastin.

Lastly, a natural skin cream that will provide you with the results you are looking for will contain antioxidants to fight the damaging effects of sun exposure. Look for natural substances like Nano-lipobelle H Q10.

This recently developed natural skin cream ingredient contains a form of co-enzyme Q10 that is easily absorbed into the skin. Clinical studies show that it absorbs through 7 layers of skin where it is able to reverse the effect of free radicals.

Free radicals are molecules found in the body, that, when out of balance in our bodies, speed up the aging process, leading to wrinkles and loose skin. Too much exposure to the sun substantially increases the number of free radical in the body.

When shopping for a natural skin cream, keep these things in mind. Look for all natural products that contain effective ingredients that have been shown through scientific studies to be effective. Then you will know that you have found one of the best skin creams available.
